Find out what we believe
We think it is important to be open and honest with each other about beliefs. Whilst respecting everyone else’s choices there are certain things that Christians believe and certain Methodist things we like to emphasise within that belief. We welcome hearing about the beliefs of others and hope that by sharing together we can explore the meaning of life and what we should value. We believe everyone has a right to explore faith free from pressure. We would love to share what we believe with you but do not insist everyone believes exactly the same things.
Christian belief
As a Christian Church we believe in Jesus Christ (as revealed in the bible and according to the creeds). It is our desire to understand God through Christ and so to learn how best to live according the Jesus’ teachings.
