Brief history of Bridgwater Methodist Church …
We are a down to earth bunch of Christians trying to work out what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ today.
It is a tradition in the Methodist Church to view all people to be of value and so we do not have a hierarchy but view all members as being equal.
We try to live life in a simple way, believing that a simple existence is good for us all. We have a no frills approach to faith.
We always welcome visitors and those seeking answers to lifes challenges.
We like to think that the lonely or those who struggle in life will be able to find a place of peace and rest among us.
We care very much about family life and are delighted that we have some children as part of our church. We seek to be welcoming to children and families.
Singing is an important part of who we are and if you like a good sing you will find yourself right at home. Of course, we don’t mind if listening is more your thing and will be happy to welcome you if it is.
